There are four levels of agency membership with benefits geared specifically for that level of participation and support:

Accredited membership, the highest level of agency membership, must be earned and awarded through the Teaching Family Association accreditation process including an initial application and onsite review. Ongoing, TFA’s accredited agencies undergo rigorous processes including annual reports, and triennial applications and onsite reviews.

Developing agency membership is the second highest level of agency membership. These agencies actively receive training, consultation, and support in their implementation of the Teaching Family Model by an accredited agency or a TFA approved individual qualified developer.

Supportive agencies are not accredited but have indicated they recognize the Teaching Family modality, accept and enforce the standards of ethical conduct required by Association, and meet other requirements necessary to be eligible as a supportive agency.

Individual memberships are maintained by individual professionals.
